Legal
Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 3 July 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Sliqd platform, application, or any related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), and agree to be legally bound by them. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.
These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you ("User," "Buyer," "Seller," or "Creator") and Sliqd Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales with company registration number 17219406, whose registered office is at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom ("Sliqd," "we," "us," or "our"). We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform following notice of changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Nature of the Platform - Marketplace Disclaimer
Sliqd operates a peer-to-peer marketplace enabling verified Creators (Sellers) to list and sell second-hand physical items to Buyers. Listings may include photos and video media uploaded by the Seller to demonstrate the item. Users may follow each other on the Platform.
Sliqd takes responsibility for all content published on the Platform. All content is moderated by Sliqd before publication in accordance with Sliqd's Content Moderation Policy, and Sliqd is responsible for ensuring that content published on the Platform complies with these Terms and applicable law. Sliqd monitors, reviews, and removes content that breaches these Terms.
3. Age Verification and Eligibility
3.1 The Platform contains sexually explicit adult content. Access is strictly restricted to persons aged 18 or over (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, if higher).
3.2 By accessing the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. You must not access the Platform if you are under 18.
3.3 Sliqd operates robust age verification in compliance with the UK Online Safety Act 2023 and applicable Ofcom guidance. You must successfully complete age verification before accessing any adult content on the Platform. Providing false information during age verification is a material breach of these Terms and may constitute a criminal offence.
3.4 Sliqd may require additional identity verification at any time where Sliqd determines it is necessary to comply with applicable law, payment processor requirements, or to maintain the integrity of the Platform. Failure to provide satisfactory verification will result in immediate account suspension.
3.5 If you knowingly allow a minor to access your account, you assume full criminal and civil liability for all consequences arising from that access.
3.6 Sliqd will cooperate fully with law enforcement authorities in any investigation relating to underage access.
4. Creator Eligibility and Verification
4.1 To upload, publish, or monetise any content on the Platform, Creators must:
- be at least 18 years of age;
- complete Sliqd's mandatory identity verification process, providing a valid government-issued photo ID and a live selfie for biometric matching;
- confirm their legal name, date of birth, and country of residence;
- agree to Sliqd's Creator Policy and Content Standards.
4.2 Sliqd retains copies of all Creator identity verification documents in compliance with applicable record-keeping obligations. These records may be provided to law enforcement upon lawful request.
4.3 Creators may not upload content featuring any person other than themselves unless that person holds a verified Sliqd account. Before publishing, the Creator must tag the verified account of every person appearing in the content. All content is screened by Sliqd before publication in accordance with Sliqd's Content Moderation Policy, and no content is published or made visible to buyers until it has passed this moderation. Once a listing has passed moderation, the listing is published; however, any photograph or video featuring a tagged person remains hidden from public view until that person has approved the tag via their Sliqd account. The tagged person will receive an in-app notification requesting their approval or declination. Approval constitutes that person's verified, timestamped consent to the media being displayed on the Platform. If a tagged person declines, the relevant media will remain permanently hidden and the Creator will be notified; removal of the tag by the Creator does not make the media visible once a declination has been recorded. If the Creator does not remove declined media within 5 working days of notification, Sliqd will remove it automatically. Sliqd logs all tag approvals and declinations as consent records.
4.4 Sliqd may reject or remove any Creator account where the Creator fails to meet Sliqd's verification requirements, breaches these Terms, breaches Sliqd's Content Standards, or where Sliqd determines such action is necessary to comply with applicable law or to protect the integrity of the Platform.
5. Content Standards and Prohibited Content
5.1 The following content is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate permanent account termination, reporting to law enforcement, and potential criminal prosecution:
- Any content depicting, suggesting, or implying the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors (CSAM). Sliqd has zero tolerance. All suspected CSAM will be reported immediately to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), and relevant law enforcement authorities;
- Content featuring any person under the age of 18 in any context, including non-sexual content where the individual appears to be or is stated to be a minor;
- Non-consensual content of any kind, including content recorded or distributed without the explicit consent of all persons depicted;
- Content depicting rape, sexual violence, or any non-consensual sexual act, whether real or simulated without clear consensual context;
- Content involving bestiality;
- Content that facilitates, promotes, or glorifies human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or coercion;
- Content featuring real persons without their verified written consent.
5.2 The following content is also prohibited:
- Content that violates any applicable law or regulation;
- Content designed to harass, threaten, or harm any individual;
- Content that infringes any third-party intellectual property rights;
- Spam, misleading thumbnails, or deceptive content descriptions;
- Content depicting, describing, or referring to blood, including menstrual blood or menstruation;
- Content depicting, describing, or referring to scat or other bodily waste;
- Content depicting or including alcoholic beverages, anything that may reasonably appear to be an alcoholic beverage, or any illegal or controlled substance;
- Content depicting or including animals or pets of any kind;
- Content depicting any person other than the verified Creator, or a tagged and consented verified User. No other person, including any incidental or background person, may appear in any content, whether in the distance, in a reflection, or otherwise, and such persons may not be blurred or otherwise obscured as an alternative to removal. Content depicting anyone other than the verified Creator or a tagged, consented verified User will not be published.
5.3 Sliqd reviews and moderates all content prior to publication on the Platform. Content moderation is carried out through a combination of automated detection tools and human review by Sliqd's trained moderation team.
Automated tools deployed by Sliqd include CSAM detection via IWF Image Intercept hash matching, image analysis to detect prohibited visual content (including but not limited to background people, prohibited substances, animals, weapons, blood, and minors), age estimation analysis, facial recognition to verify the identity of persons depicted matches verified Creator records, keyword filtering against Sliqd's prohibited terms list, and pattern detection for off-platform solicitation or policy circumvention.
No content uploaded by a Creator is published to the Platform until it has passed Sliqd's automated pre-publication review. Content flagged by automated systems as uncertain, borderline, or potentially violating is held from publication and referred to Sliqd's trained moderation team for human review and final decision. All content from newly verified Creators is subject to mandatory human review before publication for an initial period determined by Sliqd.
In addition to pre-publication review, Sliqd monitors content on an ongoing basis after publication through ongoing automated scanning, user reports, and human moderator spot-checks. Where any content is identified as violating these Terms, applicable law, or Sliqd's Content Standards, Sliqd removes the content immediately and applies the appropriate enforcement action against the Creator.
Sliqd also monitors in-app messaging, including chat between Buyers and Sellers, through automated detection tools. Messages are scanned in real-time for prohibited keywords, indicators of illegal activity, CSAM, non-consensual content, off-platform payment attempts, and other policy violations. Where automated systems flag a message, it is referred to Sliqd's moderation team for human review. Users are notified that all in-app communications are subject to automated monitoring and may be reviewed by Sliqd's moderation team where flagged.
5.3A Buyers are strictly prohibited from uploading, sharing, or publishing adult content of any kind on the Platform, including in messages, reviews, or any other feature. The creation and publication of adult content on the Platform is restricted exclusively to users who have completed Sliqd's full Creator or Seller identity verification process. This restriction applies regardless of whether the content features the Buyer alone or with others.
5.4 Third-Party Links. Users may display their verified social media handles (for example, Instagram or X) on their profile for the purpose of identity verification and authenticity, as set out in Section 6.6. Other than these verified handles, Users may not post or display links to external websites anywhere on the Platform, including in profiles, listings, or messages. Sliqd does not permit links to external content it cannot monitor or control, including but not limited to external camming sites, live streaming services, or other adult content platforms. Any third-party link found on the Platform will be removed, and any link found to contain or lead to content that violates these Terms or applicable law will result in removal and may result in account action.
5.5 Anti-Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking. Sliqd does not tolerate the use of the Platform in any way that promotes or facilitates human trafficking, sex trafficking, modern slavery, forced labour, or any form of exploitation.
Sliqd operates effective policies, controls, and verification procedures to prevent the Platform being used for any such purpose. These include identity verification of all Creators, ongoing monitoring of content and communications, cooperation with law enforcement, and immediate removal and permanent account closure of any user found to be involved in such activity.
Sliqd's full Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
6. Impersonation and Identity Fraud
6.1 You may not impersonate any person, whether a public figure, celebrity, fellow Creator, or private individual, on the Platform. This includes but is not limited to:
- using another person's name, likeness, image, or photographs in your profile without their verified written consent;
- creating an account designed to deceive others into believing you are another person;
- using another Creator's branding, profile imagery, or content without permission;
- falsely claiming affiliation with, endorsement by, or identity as any celebrity, public figure, or brand.
6.2 Uploading photographs or videos of another person - whether sourced from social media, other platforms, or any other means - without that person's verified written consent is strictly prohibited and constitutes both a breach of these Terms and potentially a criminal offence under the UK's Online Safety Act 2023 and the Criminal Justice and Courts Act 2015 (regarding intimate images).
6.3 If you are a public figure and discover your likeness is being used without consent on the Platform, contact trust@sliqd.com immediately with evidence of your identity. We will investigate and remove infringing content within 24 hours of verified notice.
6.4 Impersonation may constitute fraud, identity theft, or harassment under the Fraud Act 2006, the Identity Documents Act 2010, and the Protection from Harassment Act 1997. Sliqd will cooperate fully and without delay with law enforcement investigations arising from impersonation reports, including providing full account data, IP addresses, verification records, and transaction history upon lawful request.
6.5 Upon discovery or verified report of impersonation, Sliqd will take the following actions immediately and without prior notice: (a) permanently close the impersonating account with no right of appeal; (b) permanently blacklist the account holder from the Platform, including blacklisting by name, email address, device identifier, IP address, and any identity verification documents associated with the account; (c) where the impersonating account was operating as a Seller, forfeit all pending earnings and withhold any unpaid balance pending resolution of any claims arising from the impersonation; (d) publish a record of the blacklisting in Sliqd's internal fraud database, which will be used to prevent re-registration under any name, email address, or identity; (e) where reasonably practicable, notify Buyers who transacted with the impersonating account where Sliqd determines that notification is necessary to protect their interests.
6.6 Verified Creator accounts will be distinguished by a verification badge. To obtain verified status, a Creator must complete Sliqd's identity verification process and link at least one established social media or content platform account (for example, Instagram or X) to their Sliqd profile. To assist buyers in confirming authenticity, Creators are strongly encouraged to post on their linked social media accounts a video or post that references their Sliqd username.
6.7 Any person whose account is permanently terminated for impersonation is prohibited from registering a new account on the Platform under any name, email address, or identity, whether their own or another person's. Sliqd uses a combination of email matching, device fingerprinting, identity document matching, and IP analysis to detect and prevent re-registration by blacklisted individuals. Any new account created by a blacklisted individual will be terminated immediately upon detection, and any earnings accumulated will be forfeited. Repeated attempts to circumvent a blacklist may be reported to law enforcement as evidence of fraudulent conduct.
7. Consent Framework and Tagging System
7.1 Before publishing any media featuring a third party, Creators must use the Platform's in-app tagging and consent system as set out in Section 4.3. Consent is obtained through the tagged person's active in-app approval. Timestamped consent records are created and retained automatically by the Platform.
7.2 Consent must be freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous. Consent obtained under duress, intoxication, or deception is invalid.
7.3 Any person has the right to withdraw consent at any time. Upon notification of consent withdrawal, Creators must remove the relevant content immediately and notify Sliqd. Sliqd will remove content upon receiving verified notice of consent withdrawal.
7.4 Sliqd maintains a right to audit consent records at any time. Consent records are logged automatically by the Platform for all tagged media. Failure to use the tagging consent system as required, or any attempt to bypass it, constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination.
8. DMCA / Copyright and Content Removal
8.1 Creators warrant that they own or hold all necessary rights to all content they upload.
8.2 If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright or features you without consent, submit a written notice to legal@sliqd.com including:
- identification of the content and its location on the Platform;
- your contact information and proof of identity;
- a statement that you have not consented to the content's publication (for non-consensual intimate image claims);
- for copyright claims: a statement of good faith belief that use is not authorised, a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury, and your signature.
8.3 Non-consensual intimate image complaints will be treated as priority and acted upon within 24 hours.
9. User-Generated Content - License
9.1 By uploading content to the Platform, Creators grant Sliqd a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and display the content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform.
9.2 Creators retain all ownership rights in their content. Sliqd does not claim ownership of Creator content.
9.3 Buyers are granted a personal, non-transferable right to own and use physical items purchased through the Platform for personal use only. Buyers may not redistribute, commercially exploit, or use any item or associated listing media in any way that infringes the Seller's rights or Sliqd's intellectual property.
9.4 Downloading, screen-recording, or redistributing content without the Creator's express written consent is prohibited and may constitute copyright infringement and/or a breach of the UK's intimate image laws.
10. Account Registration
10.1 You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
10.2 You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
10.3 You may not create multiple accounts, transfer your account, or use another person's account.
10.4 Sliqd reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at its sole discretion, with or without notice.
11. Payments and Financial Terms
11.1 All payments are processed by third-party payment processors. By using payment functionality you agree to the applicable processor's terms.
11.2 Buyers are charged a buyer protection fee of 7% of the transaction value at checkout. This fee is separate from the Seller's commission and is charged in addition to the item price. The buyer protection fee funds Sliqd's Buyer Protection Programme as set out in Section 13.5.
11.3 Sliqd is not a bank or financial services provider and is not liable for the acts of Payment Processors.
11.4 Creator payouts are subject to Sliqd's standard platform fee, currently set at 20% of gross revenue. Sliqd reserves the right to modify fees upon 30 days' notice. The minimum withdrawal amount from a Seller's Platform wallet is \u20ac50, regardless of location or payment method.
11.5 Sliqd reserves the right to withhold payouts pending investigation of suspected fraud, policy violations, consent disputes, or law enforcement requests.
11.6 Chargebacks and disputes initiated outside the Platform's dispute resolution process may result in immediate account suspension.
11.7 Creators and Sellers are solely responsible for declaring and paying all applicable taxes, duties, and levies on income earned through the Platform in their jurisdiction. Sliqd is not responsible for any User's tax obligations and does not provide tax advice. Sliqd may be required to report User earnings to relevant tax authorities in applicable jurisdictions, including but not limited to HMRC in the United Kingdom, in accordance with applicable law.
11.8 Billing terms. All purchases on the Platform are one-time transactions. When you buy tokens, you are charged a single amount at the time of purchase for the token bundle you select. There is no subscription, no recurring or automatically renewing charge, no trial period, and no introductory or promotional billing arrangement. You will only ever be charged for a purchase you actively confirm at the time you make it. Tokens are a prepaid platform credit used to transact within the Platform and are priced in euros. Because each purchase is a single completed transaction, there is no recurring agreement to cancel. Card payments are processed by Sliqd's billing partner, Verotel/CardBilling. For any questions regarding credit card or bank statements, transactions, fraud, or unrecognised charges, contact Verotel/CardBilling at www.vtsup.com or livesupport@verotel.com.
11.9 Cancellation. Because purchases are one-time transactions, there is no recurring billing to cancel. A Buyer may request cancellation of an order before the Seller has dispatched it by contacting the Seller through the Platform; if the Seller agrees and the item has not shipped, the order is cancelled and any tokens charged are returned. Once an item has been dispatched, cancellation is handled under the Refund Policy and the Buyer Protection Programme. Token purchases (top-ups) are completed one-time transactions and are subject to the Refund Policy.
12. Privacy, Data Protection and Item Disclosure
12.1 Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference.
12.2 Sliqd processes personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Given the sensitive nature of the Platform, Sliqd treats all user data with enhanced protection measures.
12.3 Identity verification documents are stored securely and accessed only for compliance and law enforcement purposes.
12.4 Sliqd will never sell user data to third parties for marketing purposes.
12.7 Item Condition, Hygiene and Disclosure. Sellers are solely and entirely responsible for accurately disclosing the physical condition of all items listed on the Platform, including but not limited to cleanliness, hygiene status, wear, damage, staining, odour, and any defects however minor. By listing an item, Sellers warrant that all condition disclosures in the listing are accurate, complete, and not misleading in any respect.
Where a Seller lists an item that has not been laundered, cleaned, or otherwise prepared for resale - including but not limited to worn, unwashed, or used items of any category - the Seller must disclose this explicitly and prominently in the listing description before publication. A Buyer who purchases such an item with full knowledge of its disclosed condition does so entirely at their own risk. Sliqd accepts no liability whatsoever for the physical condition, hygiene status, or safety of any item sold through the Platform.
Sliqd is a marketplace intermediary only. Sliqd does not inspect, handle, store, clean, or verify the physical condition of any item listed or sold on the Platform. Sliqd makes no warranty or representation regarding the cleanliness, hygiene, safety, or fitness for purpose of any item.
Misrepresentation of an item's condition - including but not limited to falsely describing an unwashed or used item as clean, new, or in better condition than it actually is - constitutes a material breach of these Terms and will result in removal of the listing, account suspension pending investigation, permanent account termination upon confirmation of misrepresentation, forfeiture of pending earnings, and potential civil legal action by the affected Buyer.
Buyers acknowledge that pre-loved and second-hand items may show signs of wear consistent with prior use. Buyers are encouraged to review all listing photographs and descriptions carefully and to contact the Seller with any questions before purchasing. Sliqd's Buyer Protection Programme covers material misrepresentation of condition but does not cover minor variations consistent with normal pre-loved wear that were visible in listing photographs or disclosed in the listing description.
12.8 Seller Warranty. By listing any item on the Platform, the Seller warrants to Sliqd and to the Buyer that: (a) the item's condition has been accurately and fully disclosed in the listing; (b) the item does not present a health, safety, or hygiene risk to the Buyer beyond what has been expressly disclosed; (c) all material facts about the item's condition known to the Seller have been disclosed prior to sale.
12.9 Biological Material and DNA. Sellers may only list and sell items containing their own biological material. Selling, listing, or offering any item that contains or purports to contain the biological material of any person other than the Seller is strictly prohibited unless that person has provided verified written consent to their biological material being present on the item, the item being sold commercially, and the item being sold on Sliqd specifically.
Falsely claiming that an item contains the biological material of a specific named or identifiable person - including but not limited to celebrities, public figures, or any third party - where it does not, constitutes fraud under the Fraud Act 2006 and will result in immediate permanent account termination, forfeiture of all earnings, and referral to law enforcement.
Where Sliqd receives a credible complaint that an item contains another person's biological material without their consent, Sliqd will immediately remove the listing, suspend the Seller's account pending investigation, and cooperate fully with law enforcement. Buyers purchase items in this category entirely at their own risk. Sliqd makes no representation regarding the authenticity of any biological material claimed to be present on any item and accepts no liability for any health, safety, or legal consequence arising from the purchase of such items.
12.10 Provenance and Authenticity. The value of many items sold on the Platform derives wholly or partly from their provenance, that is, from the history, ownership, identity of the seller, or usage context of the item as described in the listing. Sellers acknowledge that provenance-based pricing creates specific obligations of honesty and accuracy.
By listing any item on the Platform, the Seller warrants that they are the genuine owner of the item; all provenance claims made in the listing are truthful, accurate, and not fabricated, exaggerated, or misleading; they are able to substantiate all provenance claims with supporting evidence if requested; and the item dispatched to the buyer will be the exact item shown and described in the listing, without substitution of any kind.
Buyers are encouraged to request authentication evidence from Sellers before purchasing items where the price reflects a provenance premium. Sliqd provides in-platform tools including authenticated media, proof videos, and direct messaging for this purpose. Buyers who purchase without requesting available authentication evidence do so at their own commercial risk. Sliqd's Buyer Protection Programme covers item not received and item materially not as described, it does not cover provenance claims that the Buyer did not seek to verify.
Fabricating or misrepresenting provenance claims constitutes fraud under the Fraud Act 2006 and may result in immediate permanent account termination, forfeiture and withholding of outstanding funds pending investigation, referral to law enforcement, and Sliqd's full cooperation with civil or criminal proceedings brought by affected Buyers. Sliqd is not liable for verifying provenance claims made by Sellers.
Not all listing discrepancies are deliberate. Where a Seller dispatches an incorrect item due to a genuine error, including mixing up orders, the Seller may resolve the matter by sending the correct item or agreeing to a refund, and an isolated, promptly corrected error will not normally result in a strike. Where a dispute is raised within the Buyer Protection period and upheld, the Buyer is refunded under the Buyer Protection Programme from the funds held in escrow for that order. Where disputes are upheld against a Seller repeatedly, a strike will be issued under the seller strike system in Section 21.1A. Deliberate fabrication of provenance remains subject to the immediate-action provisions of this Section and Section 21.1A.
13. Online Safety Act 2023 Compliance
13.1 Sliqd is a regulated user-to-user service under the UK Online Safety Act 2023 and complies with all applicable duties including safety duties, age assurance duties, and content moderation obligations.
13.2 Sliqd maintains a designated point of contact for Ofcom and will respond to regulatory enquiries within required timeframes.
13.3 Sliqd publishes and enforces its Terms of Service transparently and will produce annual transparency reports as required by law.
13.4 Users may report illegal content or safety concerns at reports@sliqd.com. All reports are reviewed and actioned in accordance with our moderation policy.
13.5 Buyer Protection Programme - Maximum Refund Cap. Sliqd offers a Buyer Protection Programme that is automatically included in qualifying transactions conducted entirely through the Platform's payment system. The Programme is subject to a maximum refund limit of €150 per transaction.
Where the value of a qualifying claim exceeds €150, Sliqd's liability under the Programme is limited absolutely to the cap amount regardless of the actual transaction value.
The dispute period is 5 calendar days from the date delivery is confirmed by the Platform's tracking integration. A Buyer may raise a Buyer Protection claim at any point within this 5-day period. If no claim is raised within this period, funds held in escrow are automatically released to the Seller's Platform balance and the transaction is treated as closed on the Platform.
Where a qualifying claim is raised within the period and upheld, funds held in escrow may be released to the Buyer up to the cap amount. Any amount above the cap held in escrow will be released to the Seller after the dispute period expires.
Buyers seeking recovery of amounts above the cap must pursue their claim directly against the Seller. Sliqd will provide reasonable assistance in facilitating contact but accepts no financial liability for amounts above the cap.
By purchasing any item on the Platform, Buyers expressly acknowledge and accept this cap and the 5-day claim period. The cap applies per transaction and cannot be circumvented by splitting a single transaction into multiple purchases.
The Programme is a voluntary commercial gesture by Sliqd and does not replace or limit any statutory rights Buyers may have against Sellers under applicable mandatory consumer protection law.
Where multiple transactions are made with the same seller and a claim relates to the same underlying issue, Sliqd's total liability to any one Buyer shall not exceed €300 in aggregate regardless of the number of individual transactions involved. The per-transaction cap of €150 and aggregate cap of €300 apply concurrently, whichever is lower applies.
13A. Returns, Cancellations and Statutory Exemptions
13A.1 The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 grant consumers a 14-day right to cancel distance sales and return goods. However, this right applies exclusively to business-to-consumer (B2C) transactions where the Seller is acting in the course of a business. It does not apply to private individual-to-private individual (C2C) transactions.
13A.2 The majority of transactions on the Platform are C2C sales between two private individuals. Where both the Buyer and the Seller are private individuals not acting in the course of a business, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 do not apply; the Buyer has no statutory 14-day right to cancel or return; the Seller is under no legal obligation to accept returns unless they have expressly agreed to do so in the listing; and the Buyer's sole remedy for items not as described is through Sliqd's Buyer Protection Programme.
13A.4 Even where a statutory return right would otherwise apply, the following categories of items are expressly exempt from the 14-day cancellation right under Regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and are non-returnable and non-refundable once delivered or once the relevant condition is met:
- Hygiene and health-sensitive items, including underwear, intimate apparel, swimwear, adult products, and any item that comes into contact with the body where hygiene is a material concern;
- Personalised and custom items, including custom requests, made-to-order items, and items personalised after purchase;
- Sealed goods with broken seals, including cosmetics, perfumes, and personal care products once the seal has been broken by the Buyer;
- Used and second-hand items sold as described, where the Seller has accurately described the used condition and the Buyer purchased with knowledge of that condition;
- Digital content where download or streaming has commenced with the Buyer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right to cancel is thereby lost.
13A.5 For all purchases falling within the exempt categories in Section 13A.4, Buyers will be required to confirm via a mandatory checkbox at checkout: "I understand that this item falls within a category exempt from the statutory 14-day return right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. I confirm that once this item is delivered, I have no statutory right to return it and am not entitled to a refund except under Sliqd's Buyer Protection Programme where applicable."
13A.6 Sliqd operates as a marketplace intermediary and is not the Seller in C2C transactions. Sliqd is not responsible for return disputes between private Buyers and private Sellers except to the extent provided under the Buyer Protection Programme in Section 13. Where Sliqd determines that a Seller is operating as a business on the Platform, Sliqd may require that Seller to comply with applicable consumer protection obligations but does not guarantee such compliance.
Section 13B - Complaints and Content Reporting Policy
Sliqd is committed to handling all complaints and reports fairly, consistently, and promptly.
Reporting illegal or non-consensual content. If any content on the Platform is reported as illegal, or as published without the consent of a person depicted, it will be reviewed and removed within 24 hours of the report being received. Reports of this nature should be sent to reports@sliqd.com, or submitted using the in-app "Report" function available on every listing, profile, and item of content. Confirmed illegal material is reported to the relevant authorities, including, where applicable, the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
All other complaints. All other complaints are dealt with in a fair and consistent manner, with the aim of resolving them to the complainant's satisfaction wherever possible, and in any event within 5 days of receipt.
How to make a complaint. Users, creators, and models may contact us about any complaint through the following channels:
- Email: support@sliqd.com (general complaints) or legal@sliqd.com (legal or rights-related matters)
- In-app: the "Report" or "Contact Support" function within the app
- Reports of illegal or non-consensual content: reports@sliqd.com
When making a complaint, please include your username, details of the content or transaction concerned, and the nature of the complaint, so we can investigate and respond as quickly as possible. We will acknowledge receipt and keep you informed of the outcome.
14. Disclaimers - No Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. SLIQD MAKES NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE ACCURACY, LEGALITY, OR QUALITY OF ANY USER-GENERATED CONTENT.
15. Limitation of Liability
15.1 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SLIQD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE PLATFORM OR ANY CONTENT THEREON.
15.2 SLIQD'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) FEES PAID BY YOU TO SLIQD IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM; OR (B) \u20ac150.
15.3 Nothing herein limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
16. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sliqd Limited (Company No. 17219406) and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from: (a) your content; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights including consent and intellectual property rights; (d) any false identity or age representation made by you.
17. Dispute Resolution
17.1 Disputes between Users must first be reported to Sliqd via support@sliqd.com.
17.2 Disputes with Sliqd shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except either party may seek injunctive relief in court for IP or consent violations.
17.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, you waive the right to participate in class action proceedings against Sliqd.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
19. Termination
19.1 You may close your account at any time by contacting support@sliqd.com. Upon closure, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including erasure within 30 days, except where Sliqd is legally required to retain certain records (such as identity verification, content compliance, transaction, and tax records). Any outstanding obligations, disputes, or pending transactions must be resolved before closure is finalised.
19.2 Sliqd may terminate any account immediately for material breach, illegal conduct, or conduct harmful to Users or third parties.
19.3 Sections 6, 7, 9, 13, 15, and 16 survive termination.
20. Miscellaneous
20.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Sliqd regarding the Platform.

21. Physical Products: Shipping, Customs and Import Compliance
21.1 Sellers are solely responsible for ensuring items comply with applicable laws in the country of origin; packaging products in plain, unmarked outer packaging; accurately declaring product contents on customs documentation; selecting appropriate shipping carriers and methods; dispatching items within 5 working days of payment confirmation; and uploading valid tracking information within the same dispatch window.
21.1A Sliqd operates a seller strike system. Strikes may be issued for late shipments, upheld buyer complaints, policy violations, or any conduct detrimental to the Platform community. Strike 1 results in a formal warning. Strike 2 suspends the Seller's account for 48 hours. Strike 3 suspends the Seller's account for 14 days and flags it for review. Sliqd reserves the right to bypass the strike system entirely and apply immediate permanent account closure where the severity of a violation warrants it.
21.2 By placing an order for any physical product on the Platform, Buyers expressly confirm and warrant that it is legal to import the purchased item into their country of residence and delivery destination; the item does not violate any applicable import, customs, obscenity, or product safety law; they assume full and sole responsibility for any legal consequences arising from importing the item; and they have conducted their own due diligence regarding legality prior to purchase.
21.3 Sliqd maintains a list of countries to which physical adult products cannot be shipped via the Platform ("Restricted Destinations"). Sliqd reserves the right to update this list at any time without notice. Sliqd automatically blocks shipments to Restricted Destinations at checkout where technically possible, but does not guarantee all Restricted Destinations are captured by automated blocking. Buyers remain solely responsible for verifying legality regardless of whether checkout permits shipment.
21.4 Sliqd's Buyer Protection Programme expressly excludes items seized, held, destroyed, or delayed by customs authorities; items returned, refused, or confiscated by any government authority, border agency, or regulatory body; items that cannot be delivered due to import restrictions, licensing requirements, or legal prohibitions; and any loss, fine, penalty, or legal consequence arising from the Buyer's failure to verify import legality prior to purchase. No refund, replacement, credit, or dispute resolution will be offered for those situations.
By completing a purchase, Buyers acknowledge and accept that customs seizure is an inherent risk of international trade in physical goods, and that this risk is entirely assumed by the Buyer.
21.5 Sliqd accepts no liability for delays caused by customs inspections or clearance processes; additional import duties, taxes, tariffs, or fees imposed by destination country authorities; or costs incurred by Buyers in attempting to recover seized or held goods. All import duties and taxes are the sole responsibility of the Buyer.
21.6 Sellers acknowledge that individual carriers including DHL, UPS, FedEx, Royal Mail, and others maintain their own prohibited items policies. Sellers are responsible for ensuring their shipments comply with the chosen carrier's terms. Sliqd accepts no liability for shipments refused, returned, or confiscated by carriers.
21.7 Where Sliqd integrates third-party shipping aggregator tools to facilitate label generation or carrier selection, such tools are provided as a convenience only. Sliqd makes no warranty that available shipping options are legally compliant for the specific product and destination combination, and the availability of a shipping option does not constitute legal advice or confirmation of import legality.
21.8 Users who circumvent Sliqd's geographic restrictions using VPN, proxy services, or any other means to mask their true location are in material breach of these Terms. Sliqd accepts no liability for any consequence arising from such circumvention including customs seizure, legal consequences, or payment disputes. All chargebacks arising from transactions placed in circumvention of geographic restrictions will be contested by Sliqd.
22. Referral Programme
22.1 Sliqd operates a referral programme ("Referral Programme") that allows eligible Users to earn rewards by referring new users to the Platform. Participation is subject to this Section 22 in addition to all other applicable Terms.
22.2 To participate, you must hold a valid, active, and fully verified Sliqd account in good standing; be at least 18 years of age; not be subject to any current account suspension, restriction, or investigation; and comply with all applicable laws regarding referral rewards, incentive programmes, and receipt of income.
22.3 The Referral Programme is available exclusively to Creators (Sellers) on the Platform. Eligible Creators will be issued a unique referral link ("Referral Link") accessible via their account dashboard.
A successful referral occurs when a new user who has not previously registered clicks the Referral Link during registration, completes full account registration, age verification, and identity verification as a Seller (Creator), signs up specifically as a Seller, and completes their first sale on the Platform within 90 days of registration.
A Creator must accumulate 3 successful referrals to trigger the Referral Reward. Every 3 qualifying Seller referrals entitles the Creator to one Reward Period. A Creator may earn a maximum of 12 Reward Periods in total.
22.4 Upon accumulating 3 successful referrals, the referring Creator will receive one Reward Period of 1 calendar month during which Sliqd's platform commission on the Creator's sales is reduced from 20% to 15%. Each additional group of 3 qualifying referrals entitles the Creator to one further Reward Period, up to a maximum of 12 Reward Periods in total.
Rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or applied to any other user's account. Sliqd reserves the right to modify or withdraw the Referral Programme at any time upon 14 days' notice. Changes will not affect Reward Periods already active and confirmed at the date of notice, except in cases of fraud or Terms violation.
22.5 Prohibited conduct includes self-referral; referring individuals who are not genuinely new users; using automated systems, bots, scripts, or artificial means to generate referrals; purchasing, selling, or trading referral codes or Referral Links; misrepresenting the Platform; using paid advertising without prior written consent; sending spam; or sharing Referral Links where doing so violates another platform's terms.
22.6 Sliqd reserves the right to verify any referral before issuing any Reward. Sliqd may withhold Rewards pending investigation and permanently disqualify accounts from the Referral Programme for suspected fraudulent activity. Sliqd's determination of referral validity is final and binding.
22.7 Rewards may constitute taxable income in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for declaring and paying all applicable taxes on Rewards received. Sliqd does not provide tax advice.
22.8 Sliqd reserves the right to modify, suspend, or permanently terminate the Referral Programme at any time upon 14 days' notice posted on the Platform. Upon termination, unissued Rewards for referrals not yet confirmed as successful will be forfeited. Rewards already credited remain valid subject to their applicable expiry terms.
22.9 In addition to standard Referral Programme rewards, Sellers may qualify for a reduction in Sliqd's platform commission fee through the Seller Referral Reward scheme. To qualify, a Seller must successfully refer at least 3 new users who each create a verified Sliqd account using the Seller's Referral Link or referral code, register as a Seller, and complete at least one sale within 90 days.
Upon meeting these conditions, the qualifying Seller's platform commission fee will be reduced from 20% to 15% on all completed sales during the Reward Period. The Reward Period is 12 months from the date Sliqd confirms the qualifying conditions were met. Official Sliqd Promoters designated in writing are exempt from the 12-month cap and are governed by separate written agreement.
The Seller Reward applies to the referring Seller's own sales only, is non-transferable, cannot be combined with another commission discount unless Sliqd states otherwise in writing, may be revoked for breach, fraud, or Referral Programme violations, and applies only to sales completed during the Reward Period.
