3. How long cookies and storage last
Cookies and similar technologies can be stored for different periods.
Session cookies last only for the duration of your browser session and are normally deleted when you close your browser.
Persistent storage may remain on your device until you change the setting, it expires, or you clear your browser data.
Sliqd currently uses a session cookie for secure platform access and local storage for your theme preference.

Strictly necessary cookies are required for the platform to work securely. They do not require consent because they are essential to provide the service you request.

This cookie is configured with security protections such as Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite=Lax.

5. CSRF and security protection
Sliqd uses CSRF protection to help prevent cross-site request forgery attacks.
We do not currently set a separate CSRF cookie. The CSRF token is provided by the API and handled by the application in connection with the secure session.
6. Local storage
Sliqd uses local storage for a limited preference setting.

This local storage key does not store your identity, payment details, verification documents, age verification result, or sensitive account information.
7. Age and identity verification
Sliqd uses verification flows for different purposes, including seller and performer identity verification and buyer age assurance.
These checks are handled through Sliqd's verification flows and, where applicable, Yoti-hosted verification pages.
Sliqd does not set an age-verification cookie. Verification status is stored securely in Sliqd's backend systems, not in a browser cookie.
When you choose to start a Yoti verification flow, you may be redirected to or interact with Yoti's own pages. Yoti may use cookies or similar technologies on its own domains as part of that service. Those cookies are controlled by Yoti and are subject to Yoti's own privacy and cookie notices.
Yoti is not loaded on Sliqd pages before you start a verification flow.

You can control cookies and local storage through your browser settings. You can also clear cookies and site data for Sliqd at any time.
