1. Getting Started & Your Account

What is Sliqd?

Sliqd is a peer-to-peer marketplace where buyers purchase second-hand items from verified content creators, including worn intimate apparel, fashion items, and adult products. Every seller is identity-verified before listing. Everything happens in one place: listings, messaging, payments, and buyer protection.

Who can use Sliqd?

Sliqd is strictly 18+ only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, browse, buy, sell, or access any content on the platform. Age verification is required for all users.

How do I create an account?

Tap 'Sign Up', enter your name, email, username, and password, then complete age verification. The whole process takes a few minutes. You will need a valid government-issued ID to hand.

Why do I need to verify my age?

Sliqd contains adult content and adult products. UK law, including the Online Safety Act 2023, requires us to verify that every user is 18 or older before they can access the platform. This is not optional: it is a legal requirement, not just a Sliqd rule.

How does age verification work?

We use a secure third-party verification provider. You will be asked to take a photo of your government-issued ID, such as a passport or driving licence, and a live selfie. The system matches your face to your ID. The whole process takes under 2 minutes and your documents are not stored on Sliqd's servers.

Is my ID safe?

Yes. Your identity documents are processed by our verification provider under strict security measures and are never stored on Sliqd's own servers. We only receive a verified/not verified result. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I change my username?

Yes. Go to Profile > Settings > Edit Profile and update your username. Your username is visible to other users, so choose something you are happy with publicly.

How do I reset my password?

On the login screen, tap 'Forgot Password', enter your registered email address, and we will send you a reset link. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive within a few minutes.

Can I have more than one account?

No. Each person may only have one Sliqd account. Creating multiple accounts is a breach of our Terms and Conditions and may result in all accounts being permanently banned.

How do I close my account?

Go to Settings > Account > Close Account, or email support@sliqd.com. Any pending transactions must be resolved before your account can be closed. Some data is retained after closure as required by law. See our Privacy Policy for details.

2. Buying on Sliqd

How do I find items and creators to buy from?

Use the Search tab to browse by category or price range. You can also search directly for a creator by typing their name, @username, or the link to their social media account, as long as the creator has linked that account to their Sliqd profile. Your home feed also shows personalised recommendations based on your browsing.

How do I buy an item?

Review the listing, tap 'Buy Now' or make an offer, and confirm checkout. Your payment is processed securely by our payment partner, and the seller is notified once payment is confirmed. Your purchase is protected by Sliqd's Buyer Protection Programme.

Can I make an offer below the listed price?

Yes. On any listing, tap 'Make Offer' and enter your proposed price. The seller will receive your offer and can accept, decline, or counter. Offers expire after 24 hours if not responded to.

What happens after I pay?

Once your payment is confirmed, the seller is notified and must dispatch your item within 5 business days. Funds are held securely until the order is complete. If there is a problem, you can raise a dispute through your order page within 5 days of confirmed delivery.

What is escrow and why does Sliqd use it?

Sliqd holds the payment securely until your order is complete. The seller is paid only after the buyer protection period has passed without a dispute. This protects both buyers and sellers.

How do I track my order?

Once the seller ships your item, they will add a tracking number to your order. Go to your Purchases in your Profile to view tracking information. You can also message the seller directly via your conversation thread.

How do transaction reviews work?

After an order is completed, the buyer and seller each have 30 days to leave one rating and review for the other. Reviews cannot be edited after submission. To reduce retaliatory feedback, both reviews are published together when both people submit; if only one person reviews, that review is published when the 30-day window closes. Cancelled, refunded, or actively disputed orders cannot receive new reviews. Published reviews can be reported for moderation.

What if my item does not arrive?

If your item has not arrived within the expected delivery window, open a dispute via your order page before confirming receipt. Do not confirm receipt if you have not received the item. Sliqd's Buyer Protection Programme covers non-delivery where the seller cannot provide proof of postage.

What if my item is not as described?

Do not confirm receipt. Open a dispute via your order page immediately, include photographs as evidence, and our team will investigate. Buyer Protection covers items that materially differ from their listing description.

What is the Buyer Protection Programme?

Sliqd's Buyer Protection Programme is automatically included in all qualifying transactions made through the Platform's payment system.

Maximum refund cap: €150 per transaction.

You have 5 calendar days from confirmed delivery to raise a Buyer Protection claim. After this period, funds are released to the Seller and the transaction is closed on the Platform.

If your claim exceeds €150, Sliqd's liability is limited to €150. Any amount above the cap will be released to the Seller after the dispute period.

To make a claim, contact support@sliqd.com with your order details and evidence within the 5-day period.

The Programme covers: item not received, item materially not as described.

The Programme does not cover: items seized by customs, buyer's change of mind, minor condition variations consistent with normal pre-loved wear.

For claims above €150, you must pursue the Seller directly. Sliqd will assist with contact details.

Where multiple transactions are made with the same seller and a claim relates to the same underlying issue (including seller impersonation or fraudulent provenance claims), Sliqd's total liability to any one Buyer shall not exceed €300 in aggregate regardless of the number of transactions. The per-transaction cap of €150 and the aggregate cap of €300 apply concurrently, whichever is lower applies.

The Buyer Protection Programme is a voluntary commercial gesture and does not replace any statutory rights you may have against the Seller.

What is not covered by Buyer Protection?

Buyer Protection does not cover change of mind or buyer's remorse, items damaged by you after receipt, disputes raised more than 5 days after confirmed delivery, transactions completed outside Sliqd's payment system, items seized by customs, or digital content once access has been granted.

Can I return an item?

Sliqd is a C2C marketplace. Most transactions are between private individuals, so the statutory 14-day return right does not automatically apply. Some item categories are also exempt from return rights, including unwashed or used items sold as such, intimate apparel, and adult products. Check the listing carefully before purchasing. If an item is not as described, open a dispute; that is separate from a return.

What about customs fees on international orders?

All import duties, taxes, and customs fees are your responsibility as the buyer. Sliqd has no control over customs decisions. If your item is seized by customs authorities, this is not covered by Buyer Protection and Sliqd cannot intervene. Always check your country's import rules before purchasing from overseas sellers.

3. Selling on Sliqd

How do I list an item?

Tap the '+' button in the bottom navigation, then 'List an Item'. Add photos, fill in the details, including title, brand, category, condition, size, and price, then tap 'Publish'. Your listing is submitted for review and goes live once it has passed Sliqd's content checks.

How many photos can I add to a listing?

You can add up to 20 photos per listing. The first photo is your cover image. Good photos significantly increase your chances of a sale, so use natural light and photograph from multiple angles.

How should I describe my item?

Be honest and accurate. Items on Sliqd are second-hand items sold by creators, and buyers are purchasing the item exactly as described, whether it is lightly worn or heavily used. There is no standard condition grading. Describe what the item is, what has happened to it, and anything that makes it unique. If it has been worn in specific content, mention that. Misrepresenting your item is a breach of our Terms and can result in permanent account closure and forfeiture of earnings.

Can I sell unwashed or worn items?

Yes, but you must clearly disclose this in the listing. Items that have been worn or not washed must be explicitly described as such. Buyers can choose to purchase knowing this. Selling an unwashed item without disclosing it is misrepresentation and is not permitted.

How do I price my item?

Pricing is entirely up to you. On Sliqd, item value is not determined only by brand or condition; it is also determined by who you are and what the item represents. Your profile, audience, and the story behind the item can all affect the price. List at whatever you believe reflects that value.

What is Sliqd's fee?

Sliqd's planned platform fee is 20% on each completed sale. There are no listing fees; seller earnings and payout requests will be tracked separately from buyer tokens.

When do I get paid?

Seller payout requests are manual and review-based. Public payment processing and payout operations are not available yet. Once enabled, seller earnings will be tracked separately from buyer tokens, and buyer tokens will not be withdrawable as cash.

How do I ship my item?

Once an item sells, you will receive a notification to ship within 5 business days. Pack the item securely, add the tracking number to the order in the app, and keep your proof of postage. Always use a tracked shipping service.

Are there items I cannot sell on Sliqd?

Yes. You cannot sell counterfeit or replica goods, stolen items, items that infringe intellectual property rights, hazardous materials, items prohibited by law in the UK or destination country, or any item that misrepresents its condition or authenticity. See our Terms and Conditions for the full prohibited items list.

What happens if I misrepresent an item?

Misrepresentation, including selling an unwashed or used item as clean or new, results in immediate listing removal, account suspension, potential permanent ban, forfeiture of pending earnings, and may expose you to legal action from the buyer. We take this very seriously.

4. Creators & Listings

What is a Creator on Sliqd?

A Creator is a verified seller on Sliqd who lists second-hand items for buyers to purchase. Creators complete identity and age verification before their account is activated. They set their own prices, own their items, and earn from sales through the platform.

How do I become a Creator?

Go to Settings > Become a Creator. You will need to complete enhanced identity verification including government ID and biometric check. Once verified, you can set up your Creator profile and start uploading content.

What kind of content can I post as a Creator?

You can post legal adult content featuring yourself as a consenting adult. All content must comply with our Content Standards. You must be the only person appearing in content unless every other person has completed Sliqd's verification and consent process. See our Terms and Conditions for the full content rules.

What content is absolutely prohibited?

The following is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate permanent ban and reporting to law enforcement: any content depicting or suggesting minors, including CSAM; non-consensual content of any kind; content featuring real persons without their verified written consent; bestiality; and content related to human trafficking or sexual coercion. There are no exceptions. Zero tolerance.

What if another creator appears in my listing media?

Every person appearing in your content must have completed Sliqd's identity verification and consent process before the content is published. You must hold a signed consent form and proof of age for every person depicted. Sliqd can request this documentation at any time. Failure to produce it results in content removal and account termination.

Who owns my content?

You do. Creators retain full ownership of all content they upload. Sliqd only has a limited licence to host and display your content on the platform. You can delete your content at any time.

How do I earn as a Creator?

Creators earn from item sales. Sliqd takes a 20% platform commission on completed sales, and the remainder is credited to the Creator's Platform balance as seller earnings. Seller earnings are tracked separately from buyer tokens.

When do I get paid as a Creator?

Seller earnings are tracked separately from buyer tokens and may be withdrawn via payout requests, subject to a minimum withdrawal amount of 500 tokens (€50). Payout requests are reviewed before being processed. Payouts may be held if there are active disputes, consent issues, or compliance matters relating to your account.

What happens if I break the rules as a seller?

Sliqd operates a strike system. Strikes are issued for late shipments, upheld buyer complaints, and policy violations. Strike 1 is a formal warning with no suspension. Strike 2 is a 48-hour account suspension with no new listings or payouts during that period. Strike 3 is a 14-day suspension and review by the Sliqd team, who will decide whether to reinstate your account, extend the suspension, or permanently close it. Serious violations, including fraud, impersonation, CSAM, or non-consensual images, can result in immediate permanent account closure regardless of strike history. If you receive a strike, you will be notified and can appeal through our appeals process.

Can someone download or screenshot my content?

Downloading and screen-recording content is strictly prohibited under our Terms and Conditions and may constitute copyright infringement and a breach of UK intimate image laws. If you discover your content has been shared without consent, report it immediately via the reporting function or at trust@sliqd.com.

What do I do if someone shares my content without permission?

Report it immediately. Go to the content or profile in question, tap the three dots, and select Report. You can also email trust@sliqd.com with subject line "URGENT - Non-Consensual Content". We treat these as priority reports and act within 24 hours of verification.

6. Payments, Wallet & Payouts

What payment methods does Sliqd accept?

Sliqd accepts card payments, processed securely by our payment partner Verotel/CardBilling. Payment details are handled by the payment processor and are not stored by Sliqd.

Is my payment information secure?

Payment details are handled directly by our payment partner Verotel/CardBilling under PCI-DSS standards, and are never stored on Sliqd's servers.

What is the Sliqd wallet?

Sliqd tracks buyer tokens separately from seller earnings. Buyer tokens are used to make purchases inside the Platform (10 tokens = €1). Buyer tokens are closed-loop, usable only inside Sliqd, and are not withdrawable as cash. Seller earnings are tracked separately in the seller's Platform balance and may be withdrawn via payout requests.

How do I withdraw money from my wallet?

Buyer tokens cannot be withdrawn as cash. Sellers may request a payout of their Platform balance to their linked payout account, subject to a minimum withdrawal amount of 500 tokens (€50). Payout requests are reviewed before being processed.

Are there fees for withdrawing?

No. Sliqd does not charge withdrawal fees. The only fee Sliqd charges is the 20% platform fee on completed sales.

What taxes do I owe on my Sliqd earnings?

You are solely responsible for declaring and paying any tax on income earned through Sliqd. Sliqd does not provide tax advice. If you earn above HMRC reporting thresholds, Sliqd is legally required to report your earnings to HMRC under the DAC7 regime. Speak to a tax adviser if you are unsure of your obligations.

What is a chargeback and what happens if I raise one?

A chargeback is when you ask your bank or card provider to reverse a payment. Sliqd strongly encourages you to use our in-platform dispute resolution before going to your bank. Raising a chargeback outside our process may result in your account being suspended. If a chargeback is found to be fraudulent, your account will be permanently closed.

7. Messaging & Offers

How do I message a seller?

On any listing, tap 'Message Seller'. You will be taken to a direct message thread where you can ask questions, negotiate, or arrange details. All messages are stored securely.

Can I share photos or videos in messages?

Yes. You can share photos and videos in messages. These are stored in your conversation thread. Do not share personal information like your home address, phone number, or bank details in messages.

Can I negotiate a price in messages?

Yes, but once Sliqd purchases are enabled, any agreed price must be completed through Sliqd. Completing a transaction outside the platform, such as by bank transfer, PayPal, Venmo, or any other method, is strictly prohibited and means you lose all Buyer Protection.

What if someone asks me to pay outside the app?

Do not do it. Requests to pay outside Sliqd are almost always scams. You will lose your Buyer Protection and Sliqd cannot help you recover funds paid outside our system. Report the user immediately using the in-app report function.

8. Safety, Reporting & Moderation

How do I report a listing or user?

Tap the three dots on any listing or profile and select Report. Choose the reason, add any details, and submit. Our moderation team reviews all reports. For urgent matters including non-consensual content, email trust@sliqd.com immediately.

What happens when I report something?

Our moderation team reviews all reports. Timelines depend on severity: non-consensual content and CSAM reports are acted on within 24 hours. Other reports are reviewed within our standard moderation window. You will be notified of the outcome where appropriate.

What is your policy on fake or counterfeit items?

Listing counterfeit, replica, or fake goods is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate listing removal and permanent account ban. If you receive an item you believe is counterfeit, open a dispute immediately with evidence.

What happens if someone impersonates another person?

Impersonation results in immediate permanent account closure with no right of appeal. The account holder is permanently blacklisted from Sliqd and cannot re-register under any name or identity. In serious cases, we report to law enforcement. If you believe someone is impersonating you, contact reports@sliqd.com immediately with proof of your identity.

What do you do about CSAM?

Any content depicting or suggesting the sexual exploitation of minors is detected immediately via our automated systems, removed, and reported without exception to the Internet Watch Foundation, the NCMEC CyberTipline, and the National Crime Agency. The account is permanently banned and details are passed to law enforcement. There are absolutely no exceptions to this policy.

How do I report non-consensual intimate images?

Email trust@sliqd.com immediately with subject line "URGENT - Non-Consensual Content". Include the location of the content and your proof of identity. We treat these as the highest priority and act within 24 hours of verification.

I am being harassed by another user. What do I do?

Block the account from the conversation or creator profile, and report the relevant message or profile using the in-app functions. Blocking stops both accounts from starting new messages, offers, follows or purchases. Existing conversation history and order records remain available for evidence, fulfilment, refunds and disputes. The other account is not notified. If the harassment involves threats or is serious, you should also report it to the police. Email reports@sliqd.com with details and we will investigate and take appropriate action against the account.

9. Privacy & Data

What data does Sliqd collect about me?

We collect account information, identity verification data, transaction records, messages, usage data, and cookies. For a full breakdown of exactly what we collect, why, and how long we keep it, read our Privacy Policy.

Is my personal information visible to other users?

Only your display name, username, profile photographs, seller ratings, and listings are visible to other users. Your full legal name, email address, date of birth, payment details, and identity verification status are never visible to other users.

How do I make a complaint about how Sliqd handles my data?

Sliqd's ICO registration number is ZC148045.

10. Referral Programme

Does Sliqd have a referral programme?

Yes. Eligible users can earn rewards by referring new users to Sliqd. You will find your unique referral link in your Profile > Referrals.

How do I earn a referral reward?

Share your unique referral link with another content creator. When they sign up as a Creator and complete their first sale within 90 days of registering, that counts as one qualifying referral. Refer 3 qualifying creators and your commission drops from 20% to 15% for 12 months.

What counts as a successful referral?

A successful referral requires that the referred person has not previously had a Sliqd account, signs up using your referral link, registers as a Creator, and completes their first sale within 90 days of registering.

When do I receive my reward?

Once you reach 3 qualifying referrals, your commission rate is automatically updated to 15% for the next 12 months. This applies to all completed sales during that period. The reward is non-transferable and may be revoked if fraud or a breach of our Terms is detected.

Can I refer myself?

No. Self-referral, including creating multiple accounts to generate referrals, is strictly prohibited and results in immediate disqualification from the programme, forfeiture of all rewards, and account suspension.

Do referral rewards expire?

The commission discount applies for 12 months from the date the third qualifying referral is confirmed. After 12 months, your commission returns to the standard 20% unless you have a separate written agreement with Sliqd as a designated Promoter.
